About Ken Baumann
I'm the author of six novels and three works of nonfiction. My writing has been translated into Chinese, French, and Italian. My shorter work has been published in the LA Times, VICE, Kotaku, and other sites, literary magazines, and journals. I've run two successful Kickstarter campaigns to form relationships with readers. For ten years, I ran a nonprofit publishing company that published fourteen titles, grossed over $250,000, and founded a publishing prize for trans and nonbinary authors. I acted in Hollywood for twelve years, starring in 129 episodes of television and a few feature films. During COVID, I ran an influential gaming channel on YouTube. Since 2018, I've helped over a thousand college students at the “most contrarian college in America” get good writing done—and on time.
I live and write in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
